The Hidden Assassin

Description:

The Hidden Assassin is an asymmetric multiplayer game where one player is assigned the role of assassin who's goal is to kill all other players, survivors. The survivors goal is to find the key and escape the level.

The assassin's weakness is light. As the assassin make sure to stay out of the light so you can move at full speed and sneak up on the unsuspecting survivors.

While in the light the assassin moves much slower and can easily be outrun by the survivors. So as the survivors make sure to stay together and shine your lights in all directions else as there is a little "surprise" hiding in the dark.

* Please note that the Jingle Jam submission version does not work correctly with the server as the connection string is wrong. The only change on the working version from the jam version is the server connection string. *

Controls:

WASD or Arrow Keys - Movement

Mouse - Look

Click - Pickup/Interact/Attack

This game was made in 48 hours for the 2020 Yogscast Jingle Jam.

The Unity3D game engine was used for the client. Node.js and the Colyseus (https://colyseus.io/) framework. The game jam test server is hosted for free on Heroku.
